ViennaMesh not only provides a generic, unified interface to several mesh related tools, but it also facilitates modern programming techniques, namely generic- and meta-programming. This section gives a short glimpse on the offered possibilities.

Additionally some pictures of generated meshes from the field of process simulation are presented. The original and the adapted meshes, as well as mesh quality figures are shown, to give an idea about the capabilities of ViennaMesh.The meshes introduced in this section are based on input geometries which do not offer a hull mesh. Therefore a rough but quick initial hull mesh is generated which is than adapted by our hull mesh adaptation tool. This improved hull mesh is significantly improved in quality, meaning, that highly degenerated elemets are reduced to a minimum. This high-quality mesh is than used as input for the volume mesh generation kernel, which in this case, is Netgen.
